My name is Angelique Cadogan, I own and operate the good K9.

 

The Good  K-9 training is focused on providing high-quality services and customer satisfaction  for dogs and handlers- I will do everything I can to meet your expectations. As a trainer and competitor for over 20 years, I will show you how to teach your dog good behavior without resorting to punishment and harsh reprimands.  A trainer that teaches the basic foundation training with an electronic collar is not a K9 trainer but simply a remote trainer.These type of trainers (not all but most ) lack understanding in animal behavior, lack the understanding of Foundation Training. Dogs are collar oriented, they know when they have the E collar on and fear the electricity , they learn to respect the remote not the handler. E-collars have their place in L.E not for family pets that need basic foundation training.. Most  unwanted behaviors do not get resolved with an  E-collar , the behavior is still there waiting for the opportunity to show itself again when the Ecollar is not on the dog. I train handlers to be better handlers and train with positive re-enforcements . My training is the best and the most rewarding. Your dog will learn to be comfortable around other dogs, have confidence and be a happier pet.

 

The 6-week basic course is designed to produce a steady K-9 companion  no matter what the breed of dog you own, young or old. This program will teach you and your dog the foundation for a fully trained and social canine. He will be attentive to you, regardless of any distraction, Heel in the proper position , Sit automatically when you stop or give a verbal command or hand signal, Down on command and maintain a Sit or Down-Stay and he will understand the command for "Recall," "Stand" and "Finish."  I also teach many other commands and exercises that will make your dog a very well behaved and rounded K9.

The Good K9 training  offers 2 day training for the price of one.  I 

believe that my clients should have the opportunity to choose to train one day a week to 2 days a week. I love training and many people that work can't always make it to class once a week, so that you don't loose  any training day I have for you 2 days

 to choose from or come and train both days !!

 

My classes are  very educating, social and most of all fun for you & your dog.

Every exercise/commands  that I teach , I do a demo with MY DOG.  If I expect you to do it with your dog I should be able to demonstrate with my dog and I do so for every exercise. I have competed in AKC,FCI and Schutzhund competition. I have raised and trained my dogs to earn titles and behave like the best well rounded dogs you can find. I can fix any unwanted behavior. Fear biters,dominant,aggressive, all non social dogs are welcome!

I also provide Imports and fully trained dogs  for family or private  firms .
